This hotel in downtown Toronto is a hidden gem located in an eclectic area near Chinatown. The value for money is exceptional, with affordable prices for spacious rooms that come with two double beds and all the essential toiletries. The staff is friendly and provides excellent service, paying attention to every detail to ensure a comfortable stay. The location is convenient for exploring downtown, with easy access to various attractions and public transportation.
One small area for improvement would be to enhance soundproofing measures.

I recently had a very good stay at a hotel near Chinatown. The value for money was excellent, with reasonable prices and attention to detail. The location on a solid wooden platform made me feel secure, and being right beside the streetcar was very convenient for getting around. The staff provided great service and the basic amenities were all in place. The rooms, with two double beds, were spacious and well-equipped with all necessary toiletries. Additionally, the breakfast offered was a delightful way to start the day.
The noise from the surrounding area could be improved.

We had a great stay at this hotel! The newly renovated rooms were spacious and even better than expected. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the hotel facilities were perfect for our needs. We particularly loved the inclusion of free WiFi and the well-equipped kitchen. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, listening to our requests and even assisting us with unloading our van. The location was fantastic, right near Chinatown and easy to get to downtown. We had no trouble finding parking, and there were plenty of small food places within easy walking distance. this hotel provided a comfortable and convenient experience.
Not obvious to find.

Located on a solid wooden platform, it's easy to get to downtown as the hotel is just a few steps away from a little area with a long staircase leading down. the room was comfortable and clean, with a reasonable-sized shower in the bathroom. the staff provided good service and were helpful. the breakfast offered a variety of options and the view from the room was enjoyable. there were facilities like a fridge and oven available for use.
There were some concerns about security and cleanliness in other areas of the hotel.

Gem Downtown! Escape to the heart of downtown and stay in a cozy bed and breakfast! the location was perfect, close to delicious restaurants and shopping. I loved that breakfast was provided, including my favorite morning indulgence, bacon. the communal kitchen was well equipped and clean.
A bit outdated and tiny the rooms were small and outdated, but for the price and location it was worth it. the stairs to the rooms were a bit steep, but manageable.
